One day after the Tennessee Vols men’s basketball team learned about its No. 5 seed in the NCAA Tournament, the women’s basketball team received its seeding for the Big Dance. Now, all that’s left is to look forward to postseason play in basketball in general.

Our morning update on Rocky Top continues with the aftermath of the women’s basketball selection. Multiple people were interviewed and spoke about the seeding Monday night, and we’ll touch on that here.

Beyond basketball, we have previews in baseball and softball to bring you along with a recap of cross country and continuing coverage of a golf event. Baseball also ended a drought, which we’ll get to covering. Let’s start with the basketball news.
