Tennessee football: SEC, top 25 picks and bets for Week 2 of 2021
No. 13 Florida Gators at South Florida Bulls (ABC)

Line: Florida -28.5; Over/Under: Over/Under: 58.5
Last week, Dan Mullen’s Florida Gators had to enter the post Kyle Trask era, and they did it against a solid Florida Atlantic Owls program. However, there are some concerns about the fact that they only won 35-24, and you have to question if the offense can do what it has been doing the past few years, even if the defense is in good shape.
On the other side, the South Florida Bulls did not get off to a good start under new head coach Jeff Scott. They lost 45-0 to the N.C. State Wolfpack and are coming off a 1-8 season. This seems like a bad team, one that Florida should handle easily.
One thing to keep an eye on, though, is that USF has the Florida A&M Rattlers next week, while Florida begins SEC play with the Alabama Crimson Tide and Tennessee football. As a result, the Gators could be looking ahead and have a sluggish start in the process.
Prediction
USF is bad, and this will effectively be a home game for Florida. However, Florida’s struggles with Willie Taggart and FAU are concerning. If you’re serious about betting, the best take here is the under given both offenses last week. Both teams have been horrible ATS dating back to last year, but we’re going to take USF to cover while losing on the idea that UF is thinking about next week.
