Razorbacks . 6. team. 844. . 4-1 (1-1). Previous:

Last week: Lost to Georgia Bulldogs 37-0

Well that was quick. Arkansas had the most impressive resume of any team in the SEC through four games, beating Texas A&M and the Texas Longhorns. It only hurt Tennessee football fans more that Sam Pittman was once on their staff. However, after just one game, they proved that they still have a few more steps to take.

Actually, two proved them. Texas A&M has proven itself to be overrated after losing to Mississippi State. However, the Hogs flat-out embarrassed themselves in their loss to Georgia, being shutout and getting dominated worse than the score even indicated.

Of course, an SEC Championship was never in the cards this year anyway, but the loss did cause them to take a tumble in our SEC Power Rankings. That doesn’t mean they don’t have a lot to play for in Pittman’s second year, though.

The Hogs get Auburn, MSU and Missouri at home, and they also get the Arkansas Pine Bluff Golden Lions, so they should have an automatic six wins and there’s a likely path to eight wins. Alabama is a sure loss. There’s a range from six to 10 wins with two road two toss-up games, one at LSU and the other at the next team in these rankings.
