Senior. Kingsley Enagbare. 3. player. Edge rusher. 850. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

6’4″ 265 pounds; Hometown: Atlanta, Ga.

South Carolina’s rush defense has been questionable up front all year. Defensive tackles Zacch Pickens and Jabari Ellis have combined for five and a half tackles for a loss and two sacks. Pickens has a pass deflection and fumble recovery while Ellis has 20 tackles, 20 of which were solo. At defensive end, Jordan Burch has a pick-six, and Aaron Sterling has one and a half sacks.

However, the biggest playmakers who can play up on the line have been the edge rushers. Jordan Strachan has a sack and two pass deflections, and that’s just as a backup. Kingsley Enagbare, the starter, has been the star with three tackles for a loss, a team-leading two and a half sacks, two pass deflections, a fumble recovery and 18 overall tackles, 11 of which were solo.

Tennessee football will be the first team South Carolina has faced all year with a mobile quarterback, which will put South Carolina’s defense to the test. As a result, the Gamecocks will rely on Enagbare to get as much pressure on the Vols as possible.

Josh Heupel has to make sure Hendon Hooker is protected from Enagbare at all times. At the same time, Hooker has to be aware of where he’s coming from. Hooker’s mobility is key in this game to keeping the pass offense efficient. Containing Enagbare will allow that to happen.
