They may have beaten two of the worst teams in the SEC, but morale for Tennessee football hasn’t been this high in a long time. Josh Heupel has Vol fans thrilled about enjoying watching their team play, and with their 4-2 record and 2-1 SEC record, they have a lot to be excited about going forward under their first-year head coach.

However, what about the program is going strongest right now? Generally, when you score back to back blowout wins against SEC opponents, it’s safe to say that all aspects of your team is thriving, and when it comes to the case of Rocky Top, that certainly seems true.

At the same time, though, Tennessee football does have some things that need to get better, as any program always does, no matter how well it’s playing. Some of those flaws were a bit more exposed in last Saturday’s game against the South Carolina Gamecocks than they were against the Missouri Tigers, but either way, it’s crucial to get them corrected going forward.

As we get set to deliver our stock report for the Vols, this time, we’ll be breaking down a few projections. Usually, for instance, our stocks to sell involve aspects of the program that have deceptively high value.

This time, though, some of the aspects have earned that high value, but our projections suggest they won’t last. The opposite could be true too, as some aspects deserve their low value but could be on stocks to buy because of what we’re projecting.

Once again, we’ll separate the pages by stocks that are up, stocks that are down, stocks to buy and stocks to sell. Stocks could be anything as well, from individuals or coaches in the program to position units to generic parts of the coaching staff to random aspects of the game.

We analyze all of these aspects against the public perception of them. Let’s go ahead and see how things are looking right now with our Tennessee football stock report following the Vols’ Week 6 45-20 win over South Carolina.
