On paper, the game of the week is the Georgia Bulldogs and the Kentucky Wildcats. That’s the No. 1 team against the No. 11 team, one of just two top 25 games and the only one involving two undefeated teams. Oh, and there are SEC East implications there. However, Tennessee football and the Ole Miss Rebels are starting to draw way more interest.

A few weeks ago, this game would have been considered a certain loss for the Vols. However, back to back blowout wins by them over the Missouri Tigers and South Carolina Gamecocks have given lots of analysts confidence in their ability to pull off the upset as Lane Kiffin returns to Rocky Top.

Although we can’t be sure how things will play out, there are plenty of solid bets to make money off of this game based on the WynnBET betting odds. Beyond just the spread, the moneyline and the over/under, there are plenty of prop bets to make. We’ll have a prop bet for each slide and close with bets to avoid. Let’s start, though, with a standard bet.

Best standard bet: Over 82.5

Beyond the moneyline or the point spread, by far the best standard bet is the over/under. Even though the line has moved from 80 to 82.5 throughout the week, and even though conventional wisdom says you should never bet over 80 in a game, this isn’t a conventional game. You’re dealing with the two best offenses in the SEC.

Not only are these the two best offenses, but the Vols’ defense is just okay. On the other side, Ole Miss’ defense is actually horrible. As a result, there’s reason to believe that this game could go over 100 points rather than just 80 points, and bets should be placed accordingly.

Josh Heupel scored 56 and 48 points against Kiffin in 2018 and 2019 when they were with the UCF Knights and Florida Atlantic Owls respectively. Despite being outmatched, Kiffin scored 36 points that first matchup. Tennessee football and Ole Miss will put on lots of fireworks Saturday night, and everybody should bet on that.
