Gambling odds according to WynnBET

  • Line: Alabama -21
  • Over/Under: 58.5
  • Moneyline: Alabama -1600; Arkansas +900

Given the way things have played out the past two weeks, Alabama would have to lose both of their final two games to lose out on the SEC West. They could still win the division even if they do that, so they’re in good shape.

Nick Saban’s team covered a 52-point spread last week, an impressive feat after struggling to bea the LSU Tigers the week before. Struggling against LSU coming off a bye week when their most recent outing before that was a 52-24 win over Tennessee football didn’t make a lot of sense, but they righted the ship. Ranked No. 2 across the board, they have everything to play for.

On the other side, Arkansas has begun to look ugly in wins. Sam Pittman’s team started 4-0 and then lost three straight. They have won three straight since then but should have lost two of those games, so it’s hard to know where they stand.

Prediction

All signs point to Arkansas getting blown out in this game. However, Alabama has been inconsistent all year and will be looking ahead to the Iron Bowl next week. As a result, they play sloppy enough offensively for Arkansas to cover and this game to hit the under. Alabama still wins, but it will be concerning at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Alabama: 21 Arkansas: 10 (Arkansas +21; Under 58.5)
