Tennessee football reaches top half of Week 12 SEC Power Rankings with South Alabama win

He had a rough second year, particularly early in the season when close losses to the Kentucky Wildcats and Boston College Eagles before losing in blowout fashion to Tennessee football. However, Eliah Drinkwitz’s team has rebounded nicely, and with his aggression, his team took advantage of their November SEC slate.

Missouri has once again gotten a coach fired by beating that team. Hey, Tennessee football fired Butch Jones a day after losing to the Tigers four years ago. Now, Florida has done the same thing, parting ways with Dan Mullen after a loss to Mizzou.

It was a clutch win and one that could move them up two spots in our SEC Power Rankings. Their close wins have them going bowling, and they and South Carolina are the reasons for LSU and Auburn having such dramatic drops this week.

Now, though, just like South Carolina, Mizzou has to pull off an upset to guarantee a winning season. Well, they have to visit the Arkansas Razorbacks, who just put up a fight with Alabama but struggled to win their previous two games before that. If they could pull off that upset, it would undo a lot of the negatives that happened earlier this season.
