A day after beating the Kansas Jayhawks 68-58, the Tennessee Lady Vols return to the court for another Big 12 matchup Saturday. It’ll be their second straight game in Las Vegas as part of the South Point Thanksgiving Shootout.

UT, ranked No. 11 in the AP Poll and No. 10 in the Coaches Poll, comes into this game after having what was probably their easiest win this year, and they did it against an undefeated Power Five team away from home. Kellie Harper’s team is still pushing through without Rae Burrell.

On the other side, Oklahoma State comes in under 11th-year head coach Jim Littell having just lost 57-54 to the Green Bay Phoenix Friday. They are still looking for their first Power Five win as well. Here is all the information you need for the Tennessee Lady Vols’ matchup in Nevada.

Broadcast information

Before losing to Green Bay, Oklahoma State was on a three-game winning streak. That included wins over the SMU Mustangs and Rice Owls. In between those two games, they also beat Harper’s former team, the Missouri State Lady Bears.

As a result, this team could be dangerous if UT isn’t careful despite what just happened. We are talking about a Lady Vols team that struggled to put away the Southern Illinois Salukis in their opener, albeit that game coming with a slew of unexpected injuries.

Still, one of those injuries applies as Rae Burrell remains out indefinitely. Without her, this program could be in for lots of struggles against solid teams, although Saturday would mark an impressive feat, as if they win, it’ll be their third straight Power Five win in a week.

After Saturday’s game, the Tennessee Lady Vols will return home to face the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles next Wednesday. Meanwhile, Oklahoma State will have a week and one day off before facing another SEC foe, the Auburn Tigers on the road.
