Here’s another conference championship game with top 25 implications. The Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns are No. 24 in the College Football Playoff rankings, No. 20 in the AP Poll and No. 21 in the Coaches Poll. After their fourth straight Sun Belt West title, they’re going for their second straight Sun Belt championship.

Head coach Billy Napier has accepted the head coach job of the Florida Gators. However, he’s sticking with his team through this title game. A second title would be a great way for him to finish his tenure in Lafyette, but how will they handle the distractions?

Prediction

Louisiana blew out Appalachian State earlier in the year 41-13 on this field. Appalachian State has been red-hot since then, but the Ragin’ Cajuns are just better. They’ll put Napier’s departure behind them and win this one with defense, so take them in the upset and take the under.
