Tennessee Lady Vols preview at Ole Miss: Live stream, game time, TV and radio info
On the heels of a dominant top 25 win, the Tennessee Lady Vols are looking to take their momentum on the road for a tough test. Kellie Harper’s team, ranked No. 7 in the AP Poll and No. 8 in the Coaches Poll, heads to Mississippi to take on the Ole Miss Rebels.
Rocky Top comes into this game after a 73-45 victory at home last Thursday over Gary Blair’s Texas A&M Aggies, who are ranked No. 25 in the AP Poll and No. 23 in the Coaches Poll. It was their third win over a team currently ranked. Ole Miss, however, comes into this game on a 13-game winning streak under fourth-year head coach Yolett McPhee-McCuin.
Having most recently just beaten the Florida Gators 74-56 on the road, the Rebels missed their first two SEC games due to COVID issues. Here is all the information you need for the Tennessee Lady Vols’ matchup against another undefeated team in SEC play.

Ever since losing their opener to the Belmont Bruins, Ole Miss hasn’t lost. In addition to beating Florida, their most recent win before that was against the South Florida Bulls, one of UT’s top 25 wins as well. USF is currently ranked No. 24 in both polls.
McPhee-McCuin has steadily built up a solid program at Ole Miss. After going 9-22 and 7-23 her first two years, she took a huge leap and went 15-12 last year while making it all the way to the NIT Championship game. This year, she has clearly taken another leap.
What has helped has been the return of every player who started a majority of games last season and all but one key rotational player. They have also added Lady Vol transfer Destiny Salary along with two other transfers in the rotation. Simply put, this is a deep, dangerous and experienced team, so UT can’t take them lightly.
On the other side, Rocky Top is finally getting fully healthy, or as healthy as they could possibly be this year with Marta Suarez out the whole season. Jordan Horston is back in the starting lineup, and Rae Burrell has played significant minutes off the bench the past two games. As a result, this team could be at full strength very soon.
After this game, the Tennessee Lady Vols will visit the Vanderbilt Commodores this Thursday. Ole Miss, meanwhile, will host the Alabama Crimson Tide that same day. This is a battle of unbeatens in the SEC, and it could determine if one team reaches the top five by Monday or if another one makes its way into the top 25, so watch out.
