Finally, somebody who was a highly touted draft pick makes the list. Cam Sutton was part of Tennessee football’s most loaded draft class of the past decade, the 2017 NFL Draft. He spent three years as a backup cornerback for the Pittsburgh Steelers and then emerged into the starting cornerback halfway through last year.

This season, after locking up a two-year deal back in the spring, Sutton has become a full-time starter. He’s not a star cornerback by any means, but he’s a reliable player, and he did finish the year with two interceptions, six pass deflections and a forced fumble.

Sutton will be playing on primetime television in this year’s playoffs, as the Steelers visit the Kansas City Chiefs Sunday night. He is heading into the playoffs at the right time too, as he may have had his best game last week against the Baltimore Ravens, when he had an interception and a pass deflection to secure a 16-13 win.

However, it’s hard to read too much into that, as he was going up against a team whose passing game fell apart this year. How he does against Kansas City is an entirely different story. The question surrounding that is why he is down here for now.
