Cam Sutton isn’t the only former Tennessee football defensive back in the NFL Playoffs, but he’s the only one who was drafted. We now move on to the guy who started opposite Sutton in 2015 and 2016 when both were healthy at cornerback but who went undrafted after his senior year in 2018. Emmanuel Moseley is one of the best overachievers in the sport.

In 2019, Moseley emerged as a starter late in the year for the San Francisco 49ers, and he hasn’t given up his spot. Like Sutton, he had an interception and a pass deflection the final week of the season to help his team secure a three-point win that got them into the playoffs.

Moseley’s play came against the Los Angeles Rams, who are supposed to have a high-powered passing attack. Still, he did allow Cooper Kupp to score a touchdown and have 118 yards receiving, so there were some issues with his play.

For the year, Moseley has started 11 games. That was his only interception, but he also has 11 pass deflections, and he has experience in the playoffs. All of that should set him up nicely.when the Niners play the Dallas Cowboys Sunday afternoon. Experience can take you a long way.
