After a week off and as the only undefeated team in SEC play, the Tennessee Lady Vols have their biggest conference test of the year so far on Sunday. UT will head south to take on the Georgia Bulldogs in a huge battle of top 15 teams.

Ranked No. 13 in both polls, Joni Taylor’s Dawgs come into this game on a three-game winning streak, including back to back road wins most recently at the Missouri Tigers and the Mississippi State Bulldogs. They’re still looking for their first top 25 SEC win.

Meanwhile, UT comes in ranked No. 5 in the AP Poll and No. 6 in the Coaches Poll. They most recently dominated the Kentucky Wildcats at home last Sunday. Here is all the information you need for the Tennessee Lady Vols’ matchup.

In her seventh year on the job, Taylor has truly built an elite program. They returned three of five starters from last year’s team that went 21-7 and reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament, including leading scorers Jenna Staiti and Que Morrison.

Earlier in the year, they beat the N.C. State Wolfpack on the road, who were ranked No. 2 at the time. Wins over the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, the Marquette Golden Eagles and the Texas Tech Red Raiders are also on their resume.

Rocky Top, on the other hand, returned Rae Burrell from injury a little over two weeks ago and has become even more dominant in the process. Tamari Key is banged up, though, which could create an issue going forward, but they have shown how elite they can be with Key, Burrell and Jordan Horston at full strength.

Things don’t get much easier for either team after this matchup. The Tennessee Lady Vols will visit the Auburn Tigers on Thursday. Georgia, meanwhile, will have its week off before visiting the Ole Miss Rebels next Sunday.
