Tennessee Lady Vols preview vs. Arkansas: Live stream, game time, TV and radio info
Four days after a shocking upset loss on the road to the Auburn Tigers, the Tennessee Lady Vols return home to try to rebuild all the hype they lost with that game. In the process, they’ll be facing an SEC foe that is flirting with a top 25 appearance.
Now ranked No. 7 in the AP Poll and still No. 5 in the Coaches Poll, the latter of which will be updated Tuesday, Kellie Harper’s team will welcome the Arkansas Razorbacks to Rocky Top. This is a rematch of a Jan. 2 matchup in Fayetteville, Ark., which UT won 70-63.
Arkansas heads into this matchup on a three-game winning streak, having just scored a 14-point victory over the LSU Tigers, who were ranked No. 12 in the AP Poll and No. 11 in the Coaches Poll at the time. Here is all the information you need for the Tennessee Lady Vols’ Monday night tipoff.

Given what happened on Thursday at Auburn, UT has to be worried about Arkansas. The Hogs are a much different team than the last two times they faced off. They started off 0-2 in SEC play but have since won four of five, only losing to the top-ranked South Carolina Gamecocks.
Neighbors, in his fifth year with the program, is building off of last year when he took the team to its first NCAA Tournament, although they almost certainly would have gone in 2020 were it not for COVID canceling the postseason. In addition to the Lady Vols, their losses include the UConn Huskies and UCF Knights on the road and the Creighton BlueJays at home.
That’s not a bad resume, and their only questionable loss is at the Vanderbilt Commodores. However, Neighbors had to deal with the loss of three starters before the start of the year, including his two leading scorers from last year.
As a result, this team has taken a minute to come together. They were in the top 15 earlier when SEC play began and then fell out after a three-game losing streak with Creighton, UT and Vandy, but they are looking good now.
On the other side, Harper’s kids desperately need this win to get their swag back. The Auburn loss came the same day the NCAA Tournament Selection Committee’s first official top 16 seeds for the year came out, and UT was a No. 1 seed. That’s not the case now, so they’ve got a lot of good will to rebuild.
After this game, the Tennessee Lady Vols will visit the Florida Gators on Thursday, Feb. 3. Meanwhile, Arkansas will visit the Texas A&M Aggies that same day. It’s crucial for UT not to overlook this week, though, with a trip to UConn set for next Sunday.
