Coming off a 10-point win over the Texas A&M Aggies this past Tuesday, Tennessee basketball is back on the road Saturday looking to extend its four-game SEC winning streak. The Vols will also be looking for just their second road win in league play.

South Carolina’s last loss to UT sparked a three-game losing streak, which preceded that three-game winning streak. Recently, James Reese V’s emergence has helped them take it up a notch, as Reese is averaging 18 points over the last three games.
Joining Reese are the consistent performances of Erik Stevenson and Jermaine Couisnard. Depth has really been the benefit for this team, as nobody is averaging 30 minutes a game, and Martin can go 11-deep with players averaging double-digit minutes per game.
Taking that into account, UT has to take this game seriously. The Vols found their offense against Texas A&M, scoring 90 points, and they have depth of their own, but South Carolina is a deep, dangerous team and is playing this game at home.

Although their offense came alive Tuesday, the Vols have not shown up offensively all year on the road. Even in their two road wins over the Colorado Buffaloes and the Vanderbilt Commodores, their defense was what propelled them to victory.
