Coming off a 19-point loss on the road to the UConn Huskies, which followed a 25-point loss on the road to the Florida Gators, the Tennessee Lady Vols are back at home. However, that doesn’t make their slate any easier as they continue to try to navigate this season without Keyen Green.

Ranked No. 13 in the AP Poll and No. 10 in the Coaches Poll, UT will play host to another NCAA Tournament caliber team, the Missouri Tigers. Led by Robin Pingeton, Mizzou comes into this game looking to rebound from a 16-point loss at home against the Ole Miss Rebels a week ago.

Rocky Top, meanwhile, comes in having lost three of four, their only victory a 13-point comeback at home to beat the Arkansas Razorbacks in overtime after they lost their leading scorer. Here is all the information you need for the Tennessee Lady Vols’ matchup.

In her 12th season as head coach at Mizzou, Pingeton is proving she hasn’t lost it. After going 9-22 two years ago and 9-13 last year, there were legitimate concerns if she could restore the program to where she had it from 2013 to 2019, where she made seven straight postseason appearances and four straight NCAA Tournaments.

Experience is really the only reason for the turnaround, as she returned all five starters and six of eight rotational players. When you add in the fact that four of her starters will be back next year, this team is playing with a bit of house money and not a lot of pressure.

On the other hand, Harper’s team continues to struggle without Green. That combined with Tamari Key playing banged up has severely limited their post game, which is supposed to be a huge advantage, and it’s why they have slid from being a top five team two weeks ago to struggling across the board.
