Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Solon Page III. 839. Linebacker. Redshirt senior. 2. player

6’2″ 228 pounds

Sticking with the linebackers, Solon Page III decided to come back for his final senior year, and he won’t have any eligibility after this season. The Georgia kid is entering his sixth season with Tennessee football, and last year was his first actually seeing real action in the rotation.

However, he was third in the rotation, and he had the lowest PFF regular season grade of any UT player who played 100 snaps last year. A graduate of Cobb County’s Kell High School in Marietta, Ga., who is initially from Atlanta, Page has plenty of experience now, but if he’s going to finally get a year to prove what he can do, this is his last chance.

Juwan Mitchell is back, Aaron Beasley is still in the rotation, Jackson Hannah has been added to the team, Kalib Perry and William Mohan will join it in August, and Aaron Willis and Bryson Eason are still on the roster. Jeremy Banks had almost as low a grade as Page, but his raw production was only matched last year by Theo Jackson, so he’s almost an assured starter.

That’s why he didn’t make this list but Page, Beasley and Mitchell do. Of those, Page is the one on his last chance to be a major rotational player. He was somewhat of one last year, but maintaining that will be tougher this year, and he needs to do more to increase his playing time.
