Scouting Report. Redshirt sophomore. Jimmy Calloway. 6. 839. Pick Analysis. Wide receiver. player

6’0″ 190 pounds

Another player who made the list because of his performance in the scrimmage open to the public, Jimmy Calloway is also the third receiver on here. However, he’s the first who could vie for the slot position or the No. 2 wideout position on this list, so Tennessee football has plenty of room for him to make an impact.

Calloway has already shown in the past that he’s elite with the ball in his hands. The four-star receiver out of Georgia who committed in 2020 had a pretty impressive touchdown run as a reserve against the Pittsburgh Panthers early last year. He had a similar score in that scrimmage.

On that day, Calloway led everybody in receiving with three catches for 101 yards and one touchdown. He caught a swing pass in his own end zone and used his ability with the ball in his hands to take it the other way for a touchdown, reversing field in the process.

That was listed as a 79-yard score for the graduate of Morrow High School in Clayton County, Ga., but it showed what he could be for the Vols. Don’t be surprised if Calloway becomes the regular starter at receiver when fall camp arrives, and there are two spots open for him to take.
