Tennessee softball series preview at Ole Miss: Live stream, game times, TV and radio info
Coming off a 7-2 win at the Liberty Flames in the middle of the week and a three-win sweep in the Lady Vol Challenge last weekend, Tennessee softball resumes SEC play this weekend. They are also back on the road for a league series for the first time in three weeks.
Rocky Top heads to Mississippi to take on the Ole Miss Rebels for a three-game series beginning Saturday. Ranked No. 12 or No. 13 depending on the service you use, Karen Weekly’s team is coming in on a four-game winning streak and having won eight of nine.
Meanwhile, Ole Miss comes in under second-year head coach Jamie Trachsel unranked but on a five-game winning streak after sweeping the South Carolina Gamecocks on the road last weekend. Here is all the information you need for Tennessee softball’s matchup.

Ole Miss most recently faced the Memphis Tigers this past Tuesday and won 11-0 in five innings. In UT’s last matchup with a Power Five program, they fell to the Virginia Tech Hokies, a top five foe, 5-2 in a midweek single-game showdown two Wednesdays ago.
UT’s last SEC series ended with a sweep over the Texas A&M Aggies that included back to back walk-off home runs. They are still in the race for the regular season SEC Softball Championship, as they have two fewer losses than the Arkansas Razorbacks, who are in first.
This is Tennessee softball’s last series on the road, as they’ll next close out the regular season next weekend with a three-game series at home against the Auburn Tigers beginning Friday. The SEC Tournament begins the week after that.
The Rebels will visit the Georgia Bulldogs for a three-game series beginning next Friday to close out the regular season. As a result, this is their final home series of the regular season. Neither team has a midweek matchup before their final SEC series.
