Tennessee baseball series preview vs. Georgia: Live stream, game time, TV and radio info
Looking to rebound from losing two of three at the Kentucky Wildcats last weekend for their first series loss all year, Tennessee baseball is back on Rocky Top. Tony Vitello’s team, ranked No. 1 or No. 2 across all services, hosts the Georgia Bulldogs for three games.
Led by ninth-year head coach Scott Stricklin, Georgia comes into this matchup on the heels of losing two of three at home against the Vanderbilt Commodores last weekend. They are anywhere from No. 22 to unranked depending on the service you go by.
This is the SEC home series finale for UT, which is coming off an 11-5 midweek home win over the Bellarmine Knights this past Tuesday. Here is all the information you need for Tennessee baseball’s next to last SEC series of the 2022 regular season.

Chase Dollander is likely to get the start for the Vols in the first game, followed by Blade Tidwell on Friday. Saturday’s matchup is still unclear. For Georgia, Nolan Crisp is expected to take the mound Thursday, followed by Jonathan Cannon Friday and Liam Sullivan Saturday.
Both teams have something to play for. The Vols, who clinched the SEC East last week, could clinch a share of the SEC regular season championship by winning this series and could clinch it outright with a sweep. They are four games ahead of the Arkansas Razorbacks with six league games left for both times.
Meanwhile, Georgia is second in the East and looking to clinch a bye in the first round of the SEC Tournament in two weeks. They are one game ahead of Vandy but need to maintain the better record since the ‘Dores have the head-to-head advantage.
After this series, Tennessee baseball hosts the Belmont Bruins Tuesday before visiting the Mississippi State Bulldogs next weekend to close out the regular season. Georgia hosts the Presbyterian Blue Hose Tuesday before closing out the regular season next weekend at home against the Missouri Tigers.
