Ohio State comes in with a 35-15 record under 10th-year head coach Kelly Kovach Schoenly. They are coming off a 2-1 loss to the Nebraska Cornhuskers last Saturday in the Big Ten Tournament semifinals. This is their first regional since they made four straight from 2016 to 2019.

Meanwhile, Oregon State comes in under 10th year head coach Laura Berg with a 33-19 record and having most recently taken two of three from the Utah Utes last weekend despite losing the final game 5-3. This is their first regional since making three straight from 2016 to 2018.

The winner of this regional will face the winner of a regional hosted by the No. 6 seed Alabama Crimson Tide in next weekend’s NCAA Super Regional for a best-of-three series. Joining Alabama in their regional are the Stanford Cardinal, Murray State Racers and Chattanooga Mocs.

Next weekend’s Super Regionals last from Thursday, May 26 through Sunday, May 29. Winners of those matchups will advance to the Women’s College World Series, which begins Thursday, June 2 and will at least last through Thursday June, 9, potentially Friday, June 10.
