Tennessee baseball SEC Championship preview vs. Florida: Live stream, game time, TV and radio info
Coming off a 12-2 win in their SEC Tournament semifinals game against the Kentucky Wildcats Saturday, Tennessee baseball returns to the championship game for the second year in a row. The Vols, as the No. 1 overall seed, will be going for their first tourney title since 1995 Sunday.
Tony Vitello’s team, ranked No. 1 across all services, will face the No. 7 seed Florida Gators, who upset the No. 2 seed Texas A&M Aggies 9-0 Saturday. Led by 15th-year head coach Kevin O’Sullivan, UF is going for its first tournament title since 2015.
When these two met in Gainesville, Fla., during the regular season in late April, Rocky Top won all three games. The Vols remain the only undefeated team in the tournament. Here is all the information you need for Tennessee baseball’s matchup.

On the mound for the Vols is up in the air, as both Drew Beam and Chase Burns played Saturday. Chase Dollander and Blade Tidwell already got starts for them in the event. Camden Sewell or Ben Joyce are the two most likely options.
At stake for Rocky Top is the potential No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament. Also, if they win the league, it’ll be their third straight time winning the tournament title when they also won the regular season title. They did that in 1994 and 1995 with Todd Helton.
UT got here by beating the No. 8 seed Vanderbilt Commodores Wednesday in a game that was delayed over 24 hours due to rain. They then beat the LSU Tigers Friday before taking out Kentucky on Saturday.
Florida, meanwhile, beat the No. 10 seed South Carolina Gamecocks Tuesday before being shut out by Texas A&M in the second round. They then upset the No. 3 seed Arkansas Razorbacks and took out the No. 11 seed Alabama Crimson Tide before getting revenge on A&M to reach Sunday.
Given the upsets and the scheduling, Tennessee baseball will have made it through the entire SEC season without facing the second or third best teams, A&M and Arkansas. They will have also faced a different team every game in the tournament.
