Shooting guard – Jordan Horston

Easily the best player on the Tennessee Lady Vols when healthy, Jordan Horston is almost as much the point guard as Jordan Walker. She is a combo guard at 6’2″, and before suffering a season-ending injury last year, she was in the midst of an All-American campaign, leading UT in points, rebounds, assists and steals per game.

Horston averaged over 16 points, nearly nine and a half rebounds, just under four assists and just under one and a half steals per game. She’ll once again be the team’s primary ball handler and scorer this year, and everything in the backcourt will go through her, as she enters her senior year.

Backup No. 1: Sara Puckett

While Horston is a combo guard who will be the primary scorer and have the high usage rate, her backup will be one of the three-point shooting specialists. Sara Puckett emerged late last year as a freshman and averaged just under six and a half points a game. At 6’2″, she could play on the wing, but there’s somebody else for that spot, so to be a second-teamer, she’ll move here.

Backup No. 2: Jessie Rennie

Another shooting specialist, Jessie Rennie enters her senior year. At 5’8″, she hasn’t done much in three years on Rocky Top, but she can still be a threat whenever her number is called, so don’t be shocked if she is able to make somewhat of an impact this year.
