Josh Heupel’s connections to Florida could pay off here, as Tennessee football’s two best targets when you combine talent with the possibility of securing a commitment come out of there in Samuel Singleton and Ryan Bullard. Getting either of those prospects would be a huge boost and add another offensive weapon to the system.
Marquez Taylor and A.C. Mason-Young are slight anomalies given the fact that they aren’t fully rated everywhere, and Nic Strong not being rated anywhere should keep all three of them near the bottom or off this list. However, Taylor and Mason-Young are in-state prospects that the Vols have a great chance with. Strong appears to be eyeing UT most heavily.
Despite their elite ratings and no favorites yet, Parker Jenkins and John Randle Jr. appear to be eyeing schools beyond the Vols, which is why they’re near the bottom. Singleton and Bullard are the goals, DeSean Bishop is a nice consolation, and Jaylen Johnson and Sawyer Deerman as athletes would also be nice pickups for Tennessee football.
