Tennessee football: How to watch Vols at 2022 SEC Media Days
On the last day of SEC Media Days, Tennessee football head coach Josh Heupel will finally take the stage along with Cedric Tillman, Hendon Hooker and Trevon Flowers. This is Heupel’s second media days in the conference with UT.
Heupel is the next to last person to take the stage. Jimbo Fisher and the Texas A&M Aggies will wrap things up, and Bryan Harsin and the Auburn Tigers were set to kick off the final day of the event, which is the de facto start of the college football preseason.
The players and Heupel will all have lots of other interviews to take part in throughout the day beyond just their press conferences, and you can follow those by clicking here. However, here is all the information you need to follow Tennessee football at the event specifically.

Last year, when Heupel took the stage, there were immediate fireworks because of the news surrounding the Texas Longhorns and his alma mater, the Oklahoma Sooners, joining the league. That dominated anything any of the coaches could say.
Well, a year later, it’s even crazier, as the USC Trojans and UCLA Bruins have now joined the Big Ten, and NIL money is completely changing the landscape of recruiting. Heupel, an All-American who won a national title as a player this century, is seeing the landscape of the sport change dramatically in front of him.
Meanwhile, he’s got a program he’s trying to change dramatically after coming off a pleasantly surprising 7-6 first season and returning a ton of talent. There are still questions about the team heading into 2022, but the optimism is there.
With a potential goal of nine or 10 wins this season, Tennessee football will take part in SEC Media Days with a lot of hype. You don’t win games at media days, but there sure are relevant things that come out of the event, so pay attention to what Heupel says and does.
