Let’s be honest. No amount of odds would make this a worthwhile bet to begin with. The Vols don’t have any shot in the dark of winning the national championship. As a result, automatically, this is a bad bet. However, that alone is not what makes it the worst bet you can make on UT.

UT was tied for the 14th best odds to win the national championship. They are tied with 14 other teams, making them among the top 27 teams with national title odds. If you’re going to bet on the Vols, you need something better than that given how impossible it already is for them to win it.
