2. SEC Championship: The Field (-250) vs. Alabama, Georgia

Sticking with the field, the payout here is less, but again, Tennessee football is part of the field to win the SEC Championship. Alabama just won the last two titles and is due to be upset, and Georgia loses a ton of talent from its national championship team, so there’s a great chance neither one wins the title this year.

Even if the Vols aren’t the other team, they are part of that field, so the same principle applies as the previous slide. What makes this one higher, though, is the fact that the odds, don’t just involve Alabama and Georgia against the field in an attempt to win the SEC.

It’s part of a collection of Power Five conference champions. There are 34 alternative combinations of champions for each conference in this bet, and you can pick that the combination will either be one of those 34 or something else, that something else being the field.

In addition to Alabama, Georgia and obviously Ohio State, only the Clemson Tigers, the Miami Hurricanes, Oklahoma Sooners, Texas Longhorns, USC Trojans, Oregon Ducks and Utah Utes are available conference champions. If somebody outside of those 11 teams wins a Power Five conference, the field wins, so take that bet.
