Gambling odds according to WynnBET

  • Line: Georgia -24.5
  • Over/Under: 55
  • Moneyline: Georgia -3001; South Carolina +1200

You never know with this game. Sometimes the Georgia Bulldogs absolutely dominate the South Carolina Gamecocks, and other times it becomes way closer than it should. Tennessee football has to visit both of these teams in November, although one is a much bigger deal obviously.

Everybody is now down on Shane Beamer and South Carolina for getting blown out by the Arkansas Razorbacks. However, they only lost by two touchdowns, and Arkansas is really good. South Carolina is still building as a program. Of course, an upset here in front of their home crowd would be a great shot in the arm.

Georgia took the second half off last week as it blew out the Samford Bulldogs. Now Kirby Smart’s team has what might be its toughest test until Florida. It’s almost a guarantee they’ll be undefeated beforehand, but if they were to slip up, this would be the game to do it.

Prediction

Stay away from this line. South Carolina is a dangerous team and will be capable of upsetting Tennessee football in November. However, Georgia isn’t going to be looking ahead, as they have nothing to look ahead to. That’ll be enough for them to cover here, and despite Spencer Rattler at South Carolina, UGA will do it with defense, so take the under.

Georgia: 37 South Carolina: 10 (Georgia -24.5; Under 55)
