Florida vs Tennessee Prediction and Pick
Tennessee has just one win against Florida since 2004. There’s no other way to put it: the Gators have owned this rivalry.
That being said, this is the year the Volunteers earn a signature win against their rival because these teams are on completely different playing fields right now.
The Gators are a pathetic 1-8 against the spread (ATS) in their last nine games and barely survived against USF last week as 23.5-point favorites. Anthony Richardson is having a dreadful start to the year with four interceptions and zero touchdowns, while Hendon Hooker looks like one of the nation’s best quarterbacks.
Led by Hooker, Tennessee has one of the most explosive offenses in the country and should dominate Florida.
Betting trends support the Vols as well. They’ve covered the spread in five of their last six games as home favorites, scoring at least 45 points in each contest. Florida, meanwhile, hasn’t covered the spread in eight consecutive road games, scoring at least 45 points precisely zero times.
This should be a special year for Tennessee and it’ll really get going with a convincing win over Florida.
Before you lock your bet in, don’t forget to claim your $1,000 free bet from FanDuel Sportsbook. If the Volunteers beat Florida for just the second time in 18 years, you’ll definitely want to celebrate with all your winnings from this can’t-lose offer.
