Former Vols who saw significant action

Kendal Vickers – DL – Las Vegas Raiders

Close to Shy Tuttle, Kendal Vickers had a mini-breakout game. Another former undrafted free agent out of Tennessee football, Vickers had four tackles Sunday as the Las Vegas Raiders lost to the Arizona Cardinals in overtime.

Cam Sutton – CB – Pittsburgh Steelers

He had three solo tackles and a pass deflection, largely doing his job, as the Pittsburgh Steelers held the New England Patriots to 17 points. However, Cameron Sutton did drop an interception, and that’s what kept him from being a star on here.

Trey Smith – OL – Kansas City Chiefs

Although he played 88 snaps, Trey Smith didn’t have that great of a PFF grade, which is what keeps him here. Still, the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Los Angeles Chargers 27-24, and they ran the ball well, so Smith mostly did his job.

Josh Palmer – WR – Los Angeles Chargers

As the Chargers lost, Joshua Palmer still had four catches for 30 yards and a touchdown. He did his part with that score, but the team probably wanted more our of him in this one.

Cordarrelle Patterson – RB – Atlanta Falcons

Unable to replicate his performance in Week 1, Cordarrelle Patterson still had 10 carries, but he gained just 41 yards as the Atlanta Falcons lost to the Los Angeles Rams 31-27. He only had one target as a receiver.
