Other former Vols who played

Alontae Taylor – CB – New Orleans Saints

It was the first time he played on defense for the Saints, and Tennessee football’s highest 2022 NFL Draft pick showed promise. Alontae Taylor came away with a pass deflection.

Jauan Jennings – WR – San Francisco 49ers

He still is a brewing superstar, but Jauan Jennings had just one catch for four yards Sunday. Trey Lance going down for the season may alter things.

Marquez Callaway – WR – New Orleans Saints

For some reason, Marquez Callaway didn’t receive any targets when he took the field Sunday. That didn’t seem to work out too well, as the Saints lost to the Bucs largely thanks to no offense.

Morgan Cox – LS – Tennessee Titans

He snapped the ball six times on a punt and once on a field goal, but Morgan Cox was part of a forgettable game Monday. The Tennessee Titans lost on the road to the Buffalo Bills 41-7.

Jalen Reeves-Maybin – LB – Houston Texans

Shockingly, Jalen Reeves-Maybin only played two snaps for the Houston Texans as they lost 16-9 to the Denver Broncos. He did play 22 snaps on special teams, though.

Jakob Johnson – FB – Las Vegas Raiders

Although he actually played more snaps in Week 2 than Week 1, Jakob Johnson was never targeted and never had any carries. Perhaps that hurt the Raiders in their loss.
