It makes perfect sense for Tennessee football to be a 10.5-point favorite on FanDuel and an 11-point favorite on WynnBET against the Florida Gators this weekend if you look at everything that’s gone on with both teams through three weeks. Setting the over/under at 62.5 on FanDuel and 63.5 on WynnBET also makes sense.

However, given the history of this series, there’s no way to avoid it. With the Vols supposed to be so much better, stay away from the line and over/under at all costs. You never really now how UT will perform in this series. Also avoid spreads and over/unders for quarters and halves.

If you want to take Tennessee football on the moneyline, FanDuel is the better deal at -385. WynnBET is better for Florida at +310. The best bets in this game, though, involve what individual players will do. Let’s break those and any other potential bets down here. These are the top five prop bets for Tennessee football’s matchup with Florida.

Here are the best gambling moves you can make for the Tennessee football Volunteers against the Gators.

5. Bru McCoy scores a touchdown (-175 on FanDuel)

All the expectations are on Bru McCoy now. WBIR reported earlier this week that Cedric Tillman is highly questionable for this game after suffering an ankle injury against the Akron Zips. At the same time, big receivers have been Florida’s weakness all year, so the other big receivers on Rocky Top should be prepared to step up.

McCoy has been the No. 2 wideout to Tillman all year, and he already has eight catches for 109 yards and a score. This is setting up to be a potential breakout game for him, so him scoring a touchdown in this game is a great bet, particularly since he already has one against the only Power Five team the Vols have played.

The only reason we have this bet at No. 5 and not higher is because FanDuel has set the odds at -175, which are a bit high, for McCoy to score. The payout won’t be great. However, Tennessee football may need him to score to win, so if you think the Vols will win, he’s a good bet.
