5 catches for 102 yards, 1 TD

Honestly, the whole cast of starting receivers deserves credit in this one. Rame Keyton had three catches for 69 yards, including a diving grab on the final drive of the first half that set up Tennessee football’s go-ahead touchdown. Jalin Hyatt had five catches for 58 yards.

The tight ends should get a shoutout too, as Princeton Fant, despite a fumble early, came back strong and finished with five catches for 43 yards, including a key third down garb right before Keyton’s diving catch on the same drive. Jacob Warren also had a 45-yard catch in a brilliant designed play by Josh Heupel.

However, Bru McCoy was the biggest star of the day in the passing game in Cedric Tillman’s absence. McCoy’s numbers speak for themselves, but what really stands out is how he came through when Florida was controlling the game early.

After Florida went up 7-3, McCoy took advantage of a busted coverage for a 70-yard catch to set up the Vols’ first touchdown. He then caught the touchdown at the end of the first half that put the Vols in the lead for good. Those two plays alone get him on this list, and the TD catch, albeit just one yard, was in heavy coverage.
