How do you bounce back if you’re Missouri? That was a devastating loss for Eli Drinkwitz’s team last week at Auburn, and now the Tigers have to turn right around and welcome the Georgia Bulldogs into town. Talk about unfair for a team trying to take another step.

Mizzou has sunk to a circled win for Tennessee football, but a strong showing against Georgia could be what they need to get back on track. They don’t even have to win. Just performing at a serviceable level will be enough to show they have something to play for down the stretch.

On the other side, Georgia had somewhat of a wake-up call last week against the Kent State Golden Flashes. It seems like they’re just getting bored with dominating everybody and are looking ahead to their bigger SEC games, which may now include Tennessee football. That may not bode well for them on a road trip to Mizzou this week.

Prediction

Struggling with Kent State was the kick in the back the Dawgs needed. They’re going to obliterate Mizzou. Meanwhile, the Tigers’ offense, as was shown last week, is just horrendous, so they won’t score at all. As a result, not only will Georgia win by refocusing, but the game will hit the under because they will have a historic defensive performance.

Georgia: 45 Missouri: 0 (Georgia -28; Under 54.5)
