Betting on Tennessee football’s matchup with the LSU Tigers Saturday is looking harder and harder. The Vols are 2.5-point favorites on both WynnBET and FanDuel, and the over/under is set at 65 and 64.5 on those sites respectively. With UT ranked No. 8 and coming off a bye, that makes sense, as LSU is still No. 25 in one poll.

Add in LSU bringing in a new head coach and seemingly not having the same loud fan base with a Death Valley game at noon, and lots of things are in the Vols’ favor. However, the game is still at Death Valley, and Rocky Top has looked questionable at times. Both teams are hard to figure out.

That makes prop bets for the game just as difficult. They each have a variety of weapons they use, and then health comes into play. It opens up an insanely wide range of possibilities. Let’s break down which ones are the most likely here. These are the top five bets not involving the game spread, moneyline or over/under for Tennessee football at LSU.

Here are the best gambling moves to make for the Tennessee football Volunteers’ fifth game of the season.

5. Malik Nabers scores a touchdown (+165 on FanDuel)

Game odds refresh periodically and are subject to change

You could go with any of LSU’s weapons at receiver. It’s impossible to figure out. There’s all this talk of Kayshon Boutte finally emerging for Jayden Daniels. Jaray Jenkins already leads the team in receiving touchdowns with three. However, Malik Nabers is the best odds of all of them to get into the end zone, so go with him.

Boutte is at +110, which isn’t great for a guy with under 100 yards and no touchdowns on the year. Jenkins technically doesn’t start. Nabers at +165, however, is a solid payout, and honestly, it’s likely a lot of weapons see the end zone this week against the Vols’ secondary.

Nabers leads the team in receiving with 22 catches for 290 yards, and he’s found the end zone once. With no No. 1 cornerback for Tennessee football, it would actually be a bit of a shocker if he didn’t find it once or twice in this game. As a result, Nabers reaching the end zone is a solid bet, so take the dive on it.
