Both Georgia and Auburn shocked us last week but for different reasons. Georgia shockingly only beat Mizzou by three despite being four-touchdown favorites, and Auburn shockingly covered a low spread in a loss to the LSU Tigers. That would mean UGA can’t beat the Tigers by 29.5, right?

Well, Kirby Smart’s team, ranked No. 2 in both polls has had back to back wake-up calls, as they struggled with the Kent State Golden Flashes the week before. All of a sudden, they look beatable to Tennessee football. The defending national champions are getting everybody’s best shot, and they haven’t managed it well recently.

Meanwhile, the way UGA should’ve lost to Mizzou, Auburn should’ve beaten LSU. Bryan Harsin winning here would be a giant shot in the arm, as he still seems like a dead man walking. Could he pull that off? Anything can happen in a rivalry game, especially this one.

Prediction

Georgia may come out with a vengeance, but that line is just too big. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times? Not gonna happen. Auburn will cover here because there is clearly a weakness in Georgia’s offense. However, Auburn’s offense is awful, so they’ll lose, and this game hits the under.

Georgia: 28 Auburn: 10 (Auburn +29.5; Under 50)
