1. Jalin Hyatt and Bru McCoy will each have a touchdown.

Yes, Jayden Daniels will give Tennessee football trouble through the air. However, the Vols can do the same thing. Sevyn Banks appeared to just be emerging for them with the New Mexico Lobos and then got hurt on the first play of the Auburn game, leaving them a veteran cornerback short.

LSU plays a lot of press-man coverage on defense. Josh Heupel knows exactly how to sneak Jalin Hyatt out into open space from the slot to break that. He’ll have a few of those plays up his sleeve early after a two-week rest. There’s a chance Hyatt has 100 yards receiving and two touchdowns in the first quarter.

However, as LSU starts to adjust, there will still be the one-on-one battles on the outside. With Cedric Tillman still banged up, that means it’s Bru McCoy time. Ramel Keyton is a solid receiver too, but McCoy has over 20 pounds on him. His physicality will be what’s needed to break LSU’s press-man coverage on a consistent basis.

As a result, McCoy is the one who will make LSU pay. He’s already got a touchdown in each of the Vols’ two games against Power Five foes, and it would be shocking if he didn’t have another one here. Again, Hyatt will get things going, but if UT ever needs a play late, McCoy will be the guy.

Of course, with McCoy and Hyatt both balling out, it’s safe to say that Hendon Hooker will put up more Heisman-like stats in this game. He’ll deal with more pressure than usual, as LSU has a great pass rush, but he’ll also put up lots of stats. If Tennessee football can win, Hooker may become the Heisman Trophy favorite.
