Former Vols who missed Week 5 due to injury

Trey Smith – OL – Kansas City Chiefs
As the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Las Vegas Raiders 30-29, Trey Smith didn’t play. The former Tennessee football offensive lineman was listed as questionable before the game due to a pectoral muscle injury.
Injured reserve
Cordarrelle Patterson – RB – Atlanta Falcons
Due to a knee injury in the Atlanta Falcons’ 23-20 win over the Cleveland Browns, Cordarrelle Patterson is out at least until Nov. 10. He didn’t play as the Falcons lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 21-15.
Justin Coleman – DB – Seattle Seahawks
Since Sept. 12, Justin Coleman has been out due to a calf injury. He didn’t play in the Seahawks’ 39-32 loss to the Saints
Alontae Taylor – DB – New Orleans Saints
For the third straight game, Alontae Taylor was on IR due to a knee injury. He didn’t play as the Saints beat the Seahawks 39-32.

Derek Barnett – DE -Philadelphia Eagles
A torn ACL in the opener ended Derek Barnett’s season.
Ja’Wuan James – OL – Baltimore Ravens
In this year’s opener, Ja’Wuan James suffered a torn achilles. That has resulted in his second straight season-ending injury.
