Welcome to what may be the most lopsided game in the SEC all year. That’s perfectly fitting for a weekend that has games with by far the greatest overall magnitude of any weekend. The juxtaposition is crazy, but hey, you can’t have every game be perfect.

Finally, after two weeks of playing ugly, the Georgia Bulldogs decided to turn it on against Auburn last week. Kirby Smart’s team may have to start focusing a bit more since Tennessee football looks threatening in the SEC East. Turning it on and off can cause bad habits to develop, and that’s been a problem so far this year.

Although they are better than last year, the Vanderbilt Commodores still have some major issues. Clark Lea’s team put up a fight against Ole Miss last week for a half before the Rebels took off. Now, they have to play a second straight top 10 game, a brutal scenario for them.

Prediction

Georgia will win and win comfortably. However, this is another game in which they sputter at times because they aren’t taking it seriously. Against a team like Vanderbilt, that means some scoring for the ‘Dores. As a result, this game is going to hit the over. They’ll pull away in the second, but UGA won’t cover.

Georgia: 48 Vanderbilt: 28 (Vanderbilt +38; Over 58.5)
