There were too many video highlights from this game to count. Usually, when we do a game like this, we take a look at all the big plays that happened for Tennessee football. However, in this case, we also had to bring in the video footage of all the celebrations and even some of the pregame hype given the historic nature of this one.
On top of those off-field antics, though, the Vols’ 52-49 win over the Alabama Crimson Tide also involved tons of big plays within the game. After all, it was a shootout, and shootouts, usually mean tons of fireworks. That was certainly the case in this one for Josh Heupel’s team.
All of our videos involve the key big plays in the game, some crazy moments and the wild celebrations at the end. Let’s show all of those here. This is all the video footage from Tennessee football’s legendary victory over Alabama Saturday.

Obviously, the fans were the biggest highlight. On the field, though, Jalin Hyatt was easily the biggest highlight. A school record five touchdowns was incredible, and he went for over 200 yards on the day. The only other time Tennessee football beat a Nick Saban-led team, another receiver, Kelley Washington, went for over 200 yards.
Beyond Hyatt, Josh Heupel and Hendon Hooker were highlights throughout the game as well. Then you’ve got the random moments in the game, including Nick Saban losing his cool after that fumbled punt and Jeremiah Crawford projectile vomiting towards an Alabama player.
We couldn’t leave either of those out, as they were part of the epic night that everybody on Rocky Top enjoyed. In the end, Tennessee football had probably the greatest highlight reel in history when it comes to a victory, and in the process, they are 6-0 and likely a top five team now.
