Looks like it took two weeks worth of scares to snap Georgia back into place. Kirby Smart’s team has enjoyed back to back blowouts against teams near the bottom of our SEC Power Rankings, and that’s enough to keep them in this second spot of our power rankings. They still have that incredible win over the Oregon Ducks to open the season.

When they’re focused, UGA is the most complete team in the country. They really don’t have a weakness. If we’re going by projections, it’s pretty obvious that the Dawgs should be the favorite to win the SEC this year running away, and they probably want to get a national championship in which they do win the conference.

Still, those struggles with Missouri and the Kent State Golden Flashes could pop back up any time, so nothing is a guarantee. It’s absolutely crucial that they maintain their focus, or else they’ll let bad habits kick in, and that’s not a good thing for them as their schedule is about to get tougher.

Luckily for them, they have a bye this week, but then they face Florida and Tennessee football before visiting Mississippi State and Kentucky. That’s a brutal four-game stretch, and you could say it gets progressively worse since at least the Vols are at home. The next four weeks after this bye are about to get real fun.
