After missing last week, Trey Smith was back on the field as the Kansas City Chiefs lost 24-20 to the Buffalo Bills. Smith was in on 100 percent of the offensive snaps.

Josh Palmer – WR – Los Angeles Chargers

Tennessee football’s best receiver in the pros this week, Josh Palmer had nine catches for 57 yards as the Los Angeles Chargers beat the Denver Broncos 19-16 Monday. He also drew multiple pass interference penalties.

Shy Tuttle – DT – New Orleans Saints

Playing just over 50 percent of the defensive snaps in the Saints’ 30-26 loss to the Bengals, Shy Tuttle finished with a pass deflection.

Marquez Callaway – WR – New Orleans Saints

On the other side of Tuttle, Marquez Callaway had three catches for 36 yards as the Saints fell to the Bengals.

Jauan Jennings – WR – San Francisco 49ers

Callaway’s opposite in college with Tennessee football, Jauan Jennings had two catches for 18 yards as the San Francisco 49ers lost to the Atlanta Falcons 28-14.

Bryce Thompson – DB – New Orleans Saints

Yes, Bryce Thompson is now playing for the Saints. He assisted on two special teams tackles in their loss.

Justin Coleman – DB – Seattle Seahawks

Coming back from injury, Justin Coleman racked up no stats. He played some on special teams, though, as the Seahawks beat the Cardinals 19-9.

Velus Jones Jr. – WR – Chicago Bears

It was another brutal day for Velus Jones Jr. with the Chicago Bears as they lost 12-7 to the Washington Commanders. The rookie had one catch for 10 yards, one carry for eight yards, a 22-yard kickoff return and three punt returns for 15 yards. He lost one of those punt returns on a fumble, his second in three weeks.
