This might be one of the most trendy upset picks of the weekend, something nobody would’ve seen coming only a week ago. However, one team just got blown out despite being in the top 25, and the other is coming off arguably a signature win to turn things around this season.

The Kentucky Wildcats didn’t look like they belonged on the same field as Tennessee football last week, losing 44-6 on the road. Sure, the Vols are an elite team, but Mark Stoops’ team could’ve put up a fight. Their awful offensive line and Will Levis’ issues were exposed, and with Chris Rodriguez Jr. banged up, they have issues.

On the other side, the Missouri Tigers are on a two-game winning streak and beat the South Carolina Gamecocks convincingly in a shocker last week. Mizzou should be 6-2 right now and could be 7-1, as they were in it with the Auburn Tigers, Georgia Bulldogs and Florida and should’ve won the first two. Playing this game at home, they have a great chance.

Prediction

Key to shutting down Kentucky is an elite defensive line, and that’s exactly what Mizzou has. Combine that with the injuries and them playing at home, and Eli Drinkwitz’s team will score a shocking and signature victory here. Take the Tigers in an upset, but the best play is the under, as neither team will score a lot.
