This might be the easiest money of the day. Jabari Small has scored a touchdown in every game for Tennessee football this year except for the Akron Zips, and he got hurt early in that one. Even last week, when a touchdown didn’t seem likely against the Kentucky Wildcats, Josh Heupel called a late pass play from Hendon Hooker to him.

Small and Jaylen Wright have made a great one-two punch in the backfield. However, down on the goal line, Small is usually the guy to get the carries. He’s the more physical back and has become automatic on short-yardage running plays, something the Vols didn’t have last year. Gaining 15 pounds in the offseason was huge for him.

That’s also why Small’s average is under four and a half yards a carry. He’s used on so many of those plays just to gain a yard or two. Georgia’s style makes it more likely he’ll have a touchdown. UGA is similar to Kentucky in that they don’t blitz and force you to move the ball.

Last week, Tennessee football proved it could win that way with a 15-play touchdown drive, opposite of what Josh Heupel usually likes to do. The more those happen, the more likely it is that a goal-line play will come in which Small’s number is called.
