Former Vols who played significantly

Trey Smith – OL – Kansas City Chiefs

Once again, Trey Smith played every offensive snap. It wasn’t his fault, but the Kansas City Chiefs didn’t run the ball well, as Patrick Mahomes threw it over 60 times and was sacked four times. Still, Smith did his part to protect Mahomes as the Chiefs beat the Tennessee Titans 20-17.

Alvin Kamara – RB – New Orleans Saints

With Alvin Kamara and Cordarrelle Patterson, Tennessee football has stars at running back in the pros. Kamara had nine carries for 30 yards and three catches for 32 yards in the New Orleans Saints’ 27-13 loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

Alontae Taylor – DB – New Orleans Saints

On the other side of the Saints’ loss to the Ravens, Alontae Taylor played 88 percent of the defensive snaps. He finised with a pass deflection and five tackles, three of which were solo.

Marquez Callaway – WR – New Orleans Saints

Back to the offensive side, Marquez Callaway had three catches for 24 yards in the Saints’ loss to the Ravens. He was in on 57 percent of the offensive snaps.

Shy Tuttle – DL – New Orleans Saints

Yes, almost all the Saints players from Tennessee football saw significant action as they lost. Shy Tuttle racked up no stats but played 49 percent of the defensive snaps.
