Welcome to the battle of two reeling programs in the SEC West. One has fired their coach, and the other doesn’t know what to do with theirs given the buyout. Tennessee football being in significantly better shape than both would’ve been unheard of a year ago.

The Auburn Tigers are entering their second game under interim head coach Cadillac Williams. They put up a fight last week against Mississippi State on the road, and with Bryan Harsin gone, there’s a chance they’ll be able to tune out the distractions and finish the season the right way. This is a great chance for them to start on that.

On the other side, the Texas A&M Aggies just keep collapsing under Jimbo Fisher. Now they are coming off a blowout loss to Florida, and a bowl berth is all but gone. Still, that’s something to play for, and with the loser of this team clinching a losing record for the year, both sides have to have a bit of pride in this one, right?

Prediction

This is a new Auburn team under Williams, and they will show it Saturday. Not only will they win, but they will win convincingly. Expect the offense to finally be what we thought it could be, and that’ll be the reason this game hits the over. Meanwhile, they will cover. Auburn will give off the vibe that they are back.
