Quarterback. r-Senior (GR). Scouting Report. Hendon Hooker. 1. player. 839. Pick Analysis

25-of-35 for 355 yards, 3 TDs; 8 carries for 50 yards, 1 TD

Who’s going to question this one? Hendon Hooker bounced back in a huge way for Tennessee football and had one of the best performances ever. He made sure Senior Day for him would not be a day to forget, and in the process, he reminded everybody who he was and that last week’s loss to the Georgia Bulldogs wasn’t indicative of his abilities.

Gaining over 400 yards of total offense and scoring four total touchdowns speaks for itself. Probably Hooker’s best play was his touchdown pass to Princeton Fant, as he threw it where only Fant could grab it. The guy also completed 71.4 percent of his passes and averaged over 10 yards an attempt with no turnovers.

What more could anybody say about him? Well, in addition to putting on one final show for fans, we should not that his backup put on a show for what could be the future. Joe Milton III came in and completed all three of his attempts for 105 yards and that touchdown to Ramel Keyton. He also had an 11-yard run on the day.

Still, Hooker was the star. Seeing him channel Peyton Manning and get up on the ladder to direct the band was something to behold, and Tennessee football fans all appreciate what they have seen from him the past two years. His work isn’t finished, but it was a great showing at Neyland for one final time.
