Former Vols who saw limited action

Darrell Taylor – DE – Seattle Seahawks

Still coming back from injury, Darrell Taylor was in on just 23 percent of defensive snaps and 21 percent of special teams snaps as the Seattle Seahawks lost 40-34 to the Las Vegas Raiders.

Jakob Johnson – FB – Las Vegas Raiders

On the other side of that Vegas game against the Seahawks, former Tennessee football tight end Jakob Johnson came out victorious. He played 26 percent of the offensive snaps and 29 percent of special teams snaps.

Velus Jones Jr. – WR – Chicago Bears

With two carries for six yards on 21 percent of offensive snaps, Velus Jones Jr. is starting to see his playing time increase. He also had an assisted tackle, playing 64 percent of special teams snaps as the Chicago Bears lost 31-10 to the New York Jets.

Marquez Callaway – WR – New Orleans Saints

This past week, Marquez Callaway didn’t see a lot of action in the Saints’ loss to the 49ers. He only had one catch for six yards and was just in on 37 percent of their offensive snaps.

Cade Mays – OL – Carolina Panthers

For the second straight week, Cade Mays played some offensive snaps, and he saw his reps increase. Mays was in on nine percent of offensive snaps and 17 percent of special teams snaps in the Carolina Panthers’ 23-10 win over the Denver Broncos.
