Former Vols who saw significant action in Week 14

Cameron Sutton – DB – Pittsburgh Steelers

He could have been another Tennessee football star of the week. Cam Sutton did his job at cornerback in the Pittsburgh  Steelers’ 16-14 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. He finished with two solo tackles and a pass deflection, playing 100 percent of the defensive snaps.

Josh Palmer – WR – Los Angeles Chargers

Although he didn’t score a touchdown, Josh Palmer was effective for the Los Angeles Chargers in their 23-17 win over the Miami Dolphins. He finished the game with four catches for 53 yards, was targeted six times and played 79 percent of the offensive snaps in the game.

Jakob Johnson – FB – Las Vegas Raiders

Normally, Jakob Johnson would be on the limited action page, but he’s on the line, and production was so light this week for Tennessee football that he’s on here by default. Johnson had a one-yard catch and appeared in 38 percent of the offensive snaps and 28 percent of the special teams snaps in the Raiders’ 17-16 loss to the Los Angeles Rams last Thursday.

Jauan Jennings – WR – San Francisco 49ers

Similar to Johnson, Jauan Jennings is on this page by default. As the San Francisco 49ers changed quarterbacks due to injury, Jennings had one catch for five yards in their 35-7 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. However, he was targeted twice and played 35 percent of offensive snaps.
